a concert to benefit the Haitian Hub
Saturday, February 15 at 7 p.m.
— note different day and time!
“I call them all love songs.” ― Pete Seeger
Challenging times? Come together for a night of live music that benefits others! Talented performers Ben and Nancy Parent, Geoff Kaufman, Dan and Liz Spurr, Sister Liliane, Geoff Mitchill duo, Tim Lambert and Scott, Jake and Amanda, and Glenn and Lizzie of Gilead Road will perform two songs each.
The theme is love…and resilience. …and generosity! Performers from Shekinah Haitian SDA Church, neighbors of Friday Night Folk in New London, join the party. Refreshments available before the concert!
Our beneficiary: The Haitian Hub, whose goal is “Innovating for a resilient Haitian future.” The Haitian Hub Resource Center of New London offers a range of bilingual services that include career building, job applications and resumes, and immigration services for the Haitian community.
Participation is what will save the human race… when people discover a harmony they never knew existed! — thank you for this notion, Pete Seeger! 7 to 9 p.m. [early!] on Saturday, February 15! 6:30 Coffee and refreshments Tickets: donate on Humanitix, call All Souls 860-443-0316 to reserve your seat, or come and pay at the door. $20 suggested donation.
