Cliff Eberhardt is a songwriter and performer of remarkable passion and wit. Compatriots have long admired his work, with artists like Richie Havens, Shawn Colvin, Lucy Kaplansky and Buffy St. Marie recording his songs.
Eberhardt has performed since age 15, when he hit the club circuit with his brother. He toured solo for over 10 years before recording his first CD, played guitar with Richie Havens and Melanie, and was part of the “On A Winter’s Night” tour with Patty Larkin, Cheryl Wheeler and John Gorka.
On Borders his second album for Red House Records, Cliff ups the musical ante. Following the course set by 1997’s 12 Songs of Good and Evil, Cliff once again took a central theme and approached it from several angles. He gives us the full benefit of his wit, warmth and wisdom, wrapped within an outstanding musical performance.
